Golds is right next to Verde, and just before S&M. It is essentially a small delicatessen, with a large selection of Neal's Yard cheeses, wines, other trendy drinks (old fashioned lemonade with ginger, ginger beer, dandilion & burdock etc), pastries and sandwiches.
I had air dried ham (a British version of Parma ham), mustard and salad on brown, followed by an eccles cake; total cost £4.15. The bread was a dark brown, almost malty - very fresh and soft; mustard nice and sharp and the meat had just the right amount of tang to it. For £2.85 it was very good value for money when compared to the Pret standard.
The Eccles cake was fruity, with the mincemeat containing just the right amount of spice. It was not too greasy and heavy, as many I've had in the past. Definitely worth a return trip.
