No lunch today, but left home without breakfast and therefore am in need of a bacon and egg sandwich. No Hot Spot, so need to find a replacement.
The Daily Grind is a café in the south east corner of the market, which has always seemed busy at lunchtimes. I ordered my bacon and egg sandwich, costing £2.80 (60p more than Hot Spot). That was the bad news; the good news was that it was with three rashers of bacon. Cooked nicely, but served with a bit less brown sauce than I would like.
I may go back, but as it isn't on the way in (a bit of a further walk), some of the benefit of coming in early was lost, so the search continues....
